First View of Hawai'i
this is the view after getting off the plane. Actually a lot of Hawai'i is like the country side of Taiwan... kinda shabby lookin'
Pride of Aloha
full picture of the ship! Actually on the 2nd to the last day, the ship almost left us. The car rental place told us that the ship was leaving at 6, so we just need to go back to return the car at 5:30 and we'll be good. so we did, only to find out that the ship LEAVES at 6. Well, it took us 10 mins to wait for a ride and like 15 mins to get from the car rental place to the ship. We got to the ship at like 5:54, they already had the walkway up and about to take off. We were quite embarrassed.
Chickens Running Wild!
these chickens are actually fighting cocks. some people actually raised these cocks in Ku'ai, but in 1992, the hurricane broke the cages and the chickens got loose. Nobody bothered to clean them up so they run wild on that island now.
In Front of Store
that shrit in the middle? longhorns? no way! it's actually dyed by the dirt in kona (the dirt there is reddish orange). Famous shirts, we actually bought 1
Fern Grotto
so we walked and walked to this place called the fern grotto... just a cave with fern growing down. nothing spetacular....
Hawaiian Girl
at the end of the trip, these Hawaiians were dancing for us on the boat. I gotta say, a lot of hawaiians are pretty plump!
Molokini Crater
this is one of the best snorkling site. Unfortunatly, too many people visit this place and destroyed more than 1/2 of the corals. I think the turtles will die out too, people just don't listen and keep touching the turtles
Real Volcano at Hilo
Volcano at Hilo erupts every day! This is a night time picture of the active volcano, pretty neat.
Right before we got there, the volcano erupted and the lava covered up a road.

Coffee Beans
This is Kona coffee on the branch! We tried some Kona coffee. I gotta say, it's the best I've had (or at least the place I tried it)
Ancient Village: Point of Refuge
We went to the Point of Refuge, I think this is the place the Polynesians first arrived Hawaii.
Sleeping Turtle at the Ancient Village
We also saw this sea turtle there sleeping by the beach. we got pretty close, about 10 feet, although the signs say that we need to keep 15 feet away.
Ancient Village
We saw this guy there. He was really cool, got tatoos all over his arm. I guess he was local
Dolphins!!
We saw 2 dolphins on our way to Molokini. 1 is mother and 1 is baby. They were swimming right up to the boat! it was so cool! but I was too busy taking pictures to really look at them. they were real cute tho
