As I walk down the dark alley
I see my shadow leaving me
farther and farther
fading fast
it left me
alone
I approached another light
only to see my shadow
leave me
again

Feelin' Crazy?
Man it's one of those days I just wanna feel crazy, you know, go dancing, screaming, drinking, wild stuff...
but then it never happens. I suppose it's a stress release.
Or driving down and empty highway at 4 am with the window open and cold air blowing in, air so cold that you nose becomes numb, and your eyes becomes watery...
I just gotta get drunk, I gotta get drunk again...
What is it? to forget what's going on? that'll be running from the problem.
Nah, just tired of the boring daily stuff, go to school, come home, clean the house, feed the dog, water the yard, make the meals, do the laundry, feed the husband, do my homework, take a shower,..................
That's stuff 40-yr-old people do. I'm 23. And I've never been crazy. And I don't even like alcohol.
Why can't I be normal?

What parents do to keep children busy while they're working
There are soooo many after school programs for kids out there. I worked at one of them teaching science to kindergarten and elementary school kids, public and private schools. And when I'm surfing on Craigslist, I see under the education employment section that there are so many companies looking for people doing this part time, paying $15~$20 / class (3 hrs long each). so if they work 5 days a week, that's $100 a week, $400 a month. this is not even enough to cover for baby sitting, and surprise I've seen A LOT of them look for babysitters so they can go work there, and then they eventually realize that they're loosing more money, so they quit.
So what kind of people get this kind of job? You would think students, but surprise surprise! a lot of them are people who
1.) don't have the education to find better jobs
2.) in the process of looking for a new job
3.) students
So, do you want to leave your kids to #1 kind of people?? hm... I wouldn't. And unfortunatly most of the after school program teachers fall under this category.
and what about #2? a little better? Well, they eventually figure out that they're not making enough with this job and the work load does not compensate the salary (they make you do a WHOLE LOT of prep work), and will switch to a new job quickly. This category includes me. Which is why the companies are always looking for new teachers!
#3, is similar, students. But student schedule may not always meet with the classes. They sometimes have to skip the after school program classes for tests, meetings, etc. and there are nobody else to cover for them.
So what's the problem with always hiring new teachers??? Well, they lower their requirements for a teacher! during my interview, my interviewer just asked me if I think I'm capable, and I said yes, and I was hired on that spot, doing the paper work etc. NOT EVEN A BACKGROUND CHECK! since they're so desperate for teachers!! They seem to hire anybody who needs a job.
Now, do you want to send your kids to after school programs??

Fastest way to skin Garlic!
Cut off the butt end (the hard part)
smash it with a Chinese butcher knife or a hammer with a big flat head
hold on to the skin on the head end
pull the garlic out

What I do
I work every weekend
I go to school full time
I study and do homework everyday
I clean the house
I vacume
I mop
I pick up dirty cloths and socks
I go grocery shopping twice a week
I cook every meal
I do the dishes after meals
I do the laundry
I fold the laundry
I mow the lawn
I take care of the dog
And he says I'm lazy and don't do anything around the house.

Complaining about CVS
I filed a complaint for CVS. this is what I sent them:
I'm a very unsatisfied customer filing a complaing for Store #7156 located at 605 WEST CAMPBELL ROAD, RICHARDSON, TX 75080
I bought some candies and facial products at this CVS today. When I brought them home, the candies were all EXPIRED and the facial cream were about to expire. The face wash had dried up completely.
I brought them back to the store, but the manager said that there's a No Return Policy on sale items. However, I didn't see any signs saying that those items were unreturnable. He said that the facial products hasn't really expired, although it had 3 days left, knowing that they had dried up and were unusable.
After hassling for an hour, he finally let me return them but he brought his cashier aside and told him to lie to the customers next time this happens.
I can't believe that a nationwide store like CVS would sell EXPIRED items and expect customers to buy them and not return them. On top of it, CVS teaches its employees to lie and hassle with customers.
It's not about the few dollars I can get back. I won't be able to trust CVS anymore. How can I walk back into the store and buy something else? Like medicine? If CVS can sell expired food, then you would also sell expired medicine! I don't think I or anybody else should risk our lives by shopping at CVS. I would rather drive down the block to other grocery stores than to step into CVS again. There are plenty of stores around and I would tell everybody I know to boycott CVS.
I'm very disappointed and unsatisfied and I will report to the Better Business Bureau.

WOW!
I just finished this book! Book 6! Phew, took 3 days. Man I gotta say it's just getting better and better! The ending is so sad.
After reading this I realize the story is towards the end... I just can't imagine that the story is ending, it seems like it's going to go on and on.. or I wish it would...
What would my life be like w/o awaiting for Harry Potter's release every year just so that I can finish the book in 3 days??
Well, that means to read all the books one more time. Everytime I get a new book, I'd start over reading from #1 again, so by now, I've read #1 like 10 times!
I just can't seem to part with the story!
do you feel the same all you HP fans out there?
JK ROWLING, KEEP HARRY POTTER GOING! DON'T END THE STORY!!!

New House
We don't have internet at the moment in our new house. We'll SBC said we can't get DSL where we live, but then we learned from other people that we can, so we finally found the right SBC division to give us DSL (after 3 weeks or so).
So right now we have to go to Allen's parents to use internet. Everytime I think of something to post, I forget it as soon as I get to a computer.
Anyway, here are some pics of the new house

This is the living room, but now we have furniture in it.

This is the upstairs bathroom #1

Our dog
We finally name our dog Shi Gua (watermelon in Chinese). He really likes to eat watermelons. He's actually a Bichon Frise (pronunciation: Bishon Freese), which is a cross breed between a Poodle and a Water Spaniel.
Anyway, he will be fluffy this winter, he's bald now.
these are what Bichon Frises look like with hair:

what a hair day!

Target prices
We've been running to Target and Home Depot a lot lately to get things for the new house.
I found that target stuff are nice, but they don't carry really durable stuff. I was trying to find a metal dust pan but could only find plastic ones that cost $4.99 whereas if I was to buy a less designed one at Dollar store, it would only be $1.
Oh and trash can too, they don't have the metal ones, only plastic, and it seems to not be very durable.
May be we should shop at Walmart instead.

pictures of our new dog
We haven't decide a name for him yet. I found him at the Plano animal shelter, $75. This poor little dog was found stray, and he was all matted, so they shaved him. They neutered him but didn't do a good job so his thingy is infected. So i took him to the vet, $200. Ouch! He's really cute and sweet when we're around, but could be a devil when we're not. He's a Maltipoo (Maltese and Poodle Mix) or a Poodle Bichon mix.. 3 years old
So after I picked him up at the pound, I brought him to Allen's store to show it to him. I think because he was crate trained, and the people at the pound never took him out, he never pooped for a long time. So he pooped a whole lot at Allen's store all over. I mean, he probably pooped 1/2 his size, more than Snowy (our big dog). Anyway, so Allen wants to name him Crapy now.
I think I'm going to call him Happy (like the 7th Heaven dog)
So here's some pics:
